Used to be ABS for a while, but has recently moved on to something else, likely Polyurethane.

+ Hexer HD 2.1 Red - 49.3g(68.5g 〃 〃)

They will do fine, the Korean pair is probably the best non-Chinese doubles pair in the world.  I am going to start calling you "AsianTrumpet".

Not a good move I suspect as that is when they started breaking all the time.

Hirano almost blew the 1st game away.

The harmony between the Korean pair blew the competition out of water. 1 game apiece.

Hard-fought game 3. The Korean pair off to a sizeable lead, but the Japan ese synergy found their way back half way. At 10:10, Hirano's serve bounced a tad too high and Yang banged it hard with a flick. 12:10 to the Korean pair.

Dead weight Hirano made tons of errors in the 4th game. Out.
I remember Hirano played very poor for months after the world cup. So, I think she will not pass R32 or R16 at the Women single Wink.

Mika Baba's comment makes sense now. Hirano plays so fast she has trouble keeping in sync with Ishikawa.

Maybe Japan should play Ito and Hirano together in doubles since they have been TT buddies since they were 5 yrs old.

Sato Hitomi got eliminated by Choi Hyojoo, 4:2. Sato was up in the crucial 4th game and it proved to be the turning point when she blew the lead.

Ito got knocked out by Lee Zion, 4:2. Not sure what happened.

Misaki Morizono suffered the same fate at the hands of Chen Szu-Yu, 4:2.

Solja Petrissa, the European hopeful, was sent home by Miyu Kato after a 7-gamer.

So many 4:2 at the Rd of 32.

Boll cruised through to the next round.

Matsudaira beat Jang Woojin 4:1.

Szocs Hunor stunned the Korean crowd, beating Jeong Youngsik 4:2.

Solja Petrissa is a very good and strong player.
But seriously, she must reduce her  weight......say, by at least 15 kgs....better still 20 kgs...over a year
then she will be a threat to all the top players.
Otherwise, she will miss her chances.

Actually, I thought Wang Tao was compact and muscular; whereas Solja Petrissa is....errr, oversized.
I thought she has become bigger/ heavier and I do not understand why the German coaches, sports dieticians/nutritionists have allowed this to develop. Maybe they are not concerned but maybe are are.
Obviously, this is only my subjective opinion. But I do think she is one of those few who can challenge the top players. She can even beat them.

Wang Tao was fat and overweighted. He played
with a fat belly for basically his whole pro career.

Well, I am not so sure. Please watch his game against Persson in 1993 WTTC. He was then like stocky, not fat in any way. At the tail end of his competitve career, yes he did develop a 'bulge' but I do not think he was fat.
