Hi I'm a 1900 rated player and I'm looking to find a new blade. I heard these two are the top in market right now, but they are super expensive. I've never had any experience so can anyone tell the spec and details abt each blade, and like why the ZJK costs more than JM. and are they worth the money or something like the carbonado 290 or 245, the hurricane long 5, timoboll zlc, or amultart zlc just as good.

Hi , be very careful spending this sort of money , yes they are very, very good but IMO they are not worth the difference in money to Viscaria's etc . I own a Super ZJK , HL5 ,190 Carbonardo & an Amultart as well as a Barwell Fleet all cost way more than a Stiga Hybrid Wood for example that costs £45 and plays great !

thnxs. I played with stiga hybrid wood but it doesn't have enough speed for me, tho it plays consistently. but I'm kinda new at this blade equipment stuff, but I need something better than a stiga infinity vps v since the new plastic ball has decreased speed. like I need something that has really fast speed like the amultart, but also gives consistent shots and not to numb in the feel for the touch shots, fast shots and blade. is there anything that u played with or own that u could recommend for a 2000 level player like me?

how is the amultart so fast when it's only 5 ply and top ply is hinoki which is a softer wood compared to other blade like viscaria which has koto as top ply?

I'm using the Amultart. I can say it has a medium throw.

I have a Hurricane Long V. It has Limba outer plies and is constructed like an innerforce blade. It reminds me of an innerforce alc just faster. Great woody feel until you start hitting harder. Amultart is much faster it reminds me of Schlager Carbon with a slightly softer feel. Another super fast Butterfly blade is Garaydia T5000. I believe Amultart and Garaydia are over 7mm thick. The only player I know that uses Amultart and controls it is 2300 usatt.

is the hurricane long v worth the struggle of 180 bucks? would it even give control on every shot along with a lot of power. I also heard the darn thing soaks up moisture really fast and doesn't last that long. is that true?

Never had a problem with any blade soaking up moisture. If you are worried put a thin layer of sealant on the blade. HL5 can be had for $130-150 at most stores in asia. HL5 is a well balanced blade but power and control are up to you. I play H3 on both sides and honestly wish it was a tad slower but it is my technique that needs improvement not my equipment.

I don't have one. Was never really interested in tournaments. The players I usually play with at my club are 1600-2000+
