What would be the best glue to stick a boosted rubber(chinese beton
sponge ones) to the blade.By boosted rubber i mean that is still has
some significant curl.
I did read that donic blue contact has strong bond(almost to strong and its difficult to remove).Anyone try with boosted rubber with curl? Suggest any other glue that could solve that problem(rubber gets off the blade around edges, sometimes a lot). Thank you. Edited by mttgfg - 05/09/2017 at 7:00am |

You aren't supposed to glue a heavily domed sheet. Wait until it becomes flat enough so that it stays on the blade when glued. With overly strong glue topsheet might bubble or wood might splinter.

Then what you get will be a softer rubber. So why do you tune of boost it? For speed and tension effect, right? Glue it right at the time it reaches to the max curl, the topsheet will be stretched maximum, then you get max effect. That was the way people have done with speed glue. I recommend FineZip or BlueFire. |

There is no real "pro", "prov" or "NT" H3 in the market.
Falco is not a booster |

Well you mix things up. Under maximum curl the topsheet will not be stretched maximum, but it will be under max tension. The reason why it curls in the first place is because the sponge expands faster than the topsheet. Thus the topsheet will be stretched maximum when dome went away. harder topsheets should dome more btw. And the sponge will get softer anyway.
Sure effect will be stronger, but since the topsheet will continue expanding when glued in max curl state, it might bubble or not stay on the blade. Just don't try gluing a rubber that curls in on itself. For anything else, there is Finezip. |

DHS #15 glue from the 500ml bottle is ideal for boosted chinese rubber. Haifu wbg works well too but requires multiple layers for an effective bond.
Any glue's bond will become stronger as you apply more layers of glue. If you are having trouble getting the glue to hold, you can sand the blade's surface or use an extra layer on the blade rather than the rubber's sponge... or both.
