Here come the Kokutaku Kiwami with woodbox, bought it from Japan, measured weight is 88g, size 162 x 130mm, the grain is straight and even, not very bouncy, ball gripping is good with a little vibration felt on hand when a TT ball bounces on it.
After I was impressed by another Kokutaku Kiwami I bought myself at Tokyo back in Sep 2015, Kiwami has very good opinion left in my head. SOLD to a trustworthy forum member !! Pictures are deleted for privacy reason.

Just go to the two Japan online shop below
1. iruiru.com http://iruiru.com/goods_page.php?ct=B&mk=K&gd=BK066 2. tt-japan.com http://tt-japan.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_7&products_id=730 Please make sure you inform them the 1. weight (recommended above 100 gram) 2. shape (square or round) If I am not wrong the price 23,200 yen (excl freight cost) does not come with the wooden box. You have to pay extra around 1,000 yen for the wooden box. Frankly, the KTS XO Gold edt wooden box is so much better than the one from KKT. Its heavy and made from solid wood. Wondering if you have received from your Korean friend. Been a while you have not update to us how the quality of the KTS XO Gold edt. |

Unfortunately, it's a waste of Hinoki wood. The small blade faces of Darker and Kokutaku jpens are not suitable for the 40+ rubbish ball.
It's a pity that Darker and Kokutaku have been wasting that precious hinoki wood for years and years. Edited by ChichoFicho - 08/11/2017 at 6:43am |

It's a pity that Darker and Kokutaku have been wasting that precious hinoki wood for years and years.'- ChichoFicho allo allo allo, where do you get info from ? I see the dimensions of kokutaku blades are the same as butterfly, eg. Butterfly Cypress G max and Kokutaku No 1 D100 both are 163 mm x 135 mm. Darker blades are slightly narrower @ 132 mm. I keep measuring my s90 and it looks like its 133 mm. penholderxxx |

I own a few Darker and KKT blades. All of them are ~129-130 mm wide. Small face - not good for the plastic ball. Good for collection though.
