I'm really curious to try Baracuda after I read more reviews, especially that is close to Tenergy 05 but with less speed. I'm sure that with ZJ SZLC will work great.

The spiniest Tensor is obviously Andro Blowfish.

I can't think of another rubber that's spiny.

I used to play with Baracuda for like 4 years before switching to Tenergies. I also think it's spinnier than T05. Baracuda is softer than T05 (similar to T80) and that's why I think it feels spinnier on brushing loops and slower to medium fast loops, but I think when you play a loop with full power and full arm swing, T05's spin is equal if not better than Baracuda's. They also have a very similar high throw angle. The only BIG problem of Baracuda is that it's very sensitive to incoming spin, because of the grippy topsheet, so it's very difficult to block and counterloop. That's the only reason why I switched to Tenergy, it's less spin sensitive.

I think it depends on how you stroke the ball, my brother is getting more spin from Bluefire JP01 Turbo than he ever got from using Baracuda.  He strikes the ball hard, and I think the stiffer sponge just works better (for him) on the JP01 Turbo than it did on the softer Baracuda.  So many choices available now, finding the right fit is difficult, but you have to make fewer compromises compared to the past since sponge and topsheet combo have never been more customize-able to individual game styles.

I like that there are choices available on Baracuda now, with the Big Slam version being offered.

Perhaps if you had asked which rubber was the spinniest, I would have answered differently ;)

I have experience with all 3. Omega V Euro is an excellent rubber too but it's a little more bouncy and I feel like it doesn't have enough dwell time to produce the same level of spin on medium and slower strokes. At full thrust it is equal to Tour and Asia but quite often we are hitting softer than that.

Rakza 7 generates unbelievable spin. I think it's spinnier than Baracuda personally, but I never liked Baracuda even when I boosted it.

Tenergy is not a tensor. I would also, generally, disagree with your sentiment but that's a conversation for another thread.

Nobody said it is! But the OP did ask for a tensor that is spinnier than T05.

Right and I disagree with the sentiment that there is no tensor spinnier than Tenergy 05.

Visual comparison is very subjective. The only way to find the real answer is through scientific measurements. RPM per sec. with high speed camera's is the right way to find the truth.

Yes, very true. But despite being so obvious, I wonder if anyone actually ever did this and posted his findings online?

If sb could do this it certainly would be of great benefit. I have thought about it and came to the conclusion that a camera with around 300 FPS will should be sufficient to reliably measure the spin.

For all we know it definitely is not because "Tensor" is a tradename of ESN in Germany.

Neither manufacturer invented the wheel anew.
Just different fancy names for the same technology, using similar chemical processes.
