Doesn't have to be current generation. Worried that mantra/genesis would be too fast.
Don't know much about Fastarc, except that it doesn't appear slow to medium.
Weight should be like classic japanese; not classic chinese or ESN medium sponges (even softer acuda S3 was spinny enough but heavy with a chinese rubber on forehand)

Actually fastarc s1 fits the bill except the sponge fits squarely into medium. It's spin is sufficient for me but the only thing I can confirm is that is less spiny than rakza 7 tenergy 05 vega pro and similar to airoc Astro m
Per your requirements, would Sriver EL be out of the question?

GS - tell me more about Hammond Power? I can't find any decent info on it.
Nittaku Hammond Power:
Spinny rubber for backhand - I find it spinny for serves and pushes. Topspins of all kinds feel mediumish in spin to me however
Medium hard Sponge - Medium sponge, maybe leaning on medium hard
Made in Japan Topsheet - Yep and made for the new ball
Speed should be slow to medium - If a defensive rubber is slow, then this is medium
High control - Yes
Looking for linear performance - It has a medium-high throw but is linear
I've been using it on the forehand. I honestly don't think it's the right rubber for me. If the average modern tensor feels like it's 100 percent boosted, Hammond power feels like it's 40 percent boosted. It feels like it's begging for 2 layers of booster (which I will eventually experiment with). The thing is though, it only comes in 2.0mm which is Max as the topsheet is also 2.0mm. This means boosting it would make it detectable in competition since it would go over the 4.0mm limit after boosting. They should make at least 1.8 and 1.5mm versions, maybe some thinner than that too as this not a fast rubber. As it is, it feels like Nittaku was spent time developing the topsheet for the new ball and glued it on a classic style sponge. However, what you are asking for is pretty much how it plays. Here is me just messing around with a buddy of mine while I use it for the first time. I'm the guy with the beard.

and special thanks for posting the video - I like the throw angles, and it looks like you are able to generate good spin with it!
On the backhand, I've been using Victas 401, which is the oddest ESN rubber I have used. The firm sponge with a grippy topsheet serves, pushes and attacks really well. It's only OK on passive shots, but chops really well. Am reasonably happy with it; but it made me realize what I was missing (aggressive placement blocks, easier looping) which are the tradeoffs when Ii compare it with the Joola Energy Extra that's on my spare blade.
I just miss the feel of a Japanese Mark V/Mendo style topsheet.
But I must ask: are you really hitting those winners with Vega Europe DF?

TSP rubbers? It's a Nittaku rubber.
Haha, yes Xiom Vega Europe DF 1.8mm is on my backhand. Those winners are my trademark shot! Vega Europe DF is a special rubber for me. Very soft sponge with amazing control and feel, maximum topsheet grip, heavy spin on slow strokes, enough speed close to the table as you can see, slow enough to be used as a chopping defensive rubber at long distances. It's my perfect backhand inverted rubber. I'd say it fits your characteristics minus the very soft sponge and that it's ESN made.

Donic Coppa! no tensor, japan made, very linear, high control and medium sponge :) used it last season on both sides, awesome rubber and very grippy ;)
