Is the DHS Neo Hurricane III a good first time rubber for fh? Does it need to be boosted? How is the durability and does it bubble easily? Does it work well with an Alc blade?

Thanks

Yes, try 39 degree first.
No, does not need to be boosted.
Good durability, if not boosted.
Does not bubble easily, unless boosted frequently.
Works well with ALC blades.

Is it easy to peel of old glue from the sponge without damaging the sponge? Of course it depends on the glue but with thin glues like haifu or dianchi?

Here is a 59-month-old commercial Neo Hurricane 3 on a 59-month-old Viscaria stretching in pain. Topsheet is as tacky as ever, and will very likely not pass the gloss test.

Never boosted. Topsheet and sponge felt soft for the first couple of months then went dead. For this particular sheet, no bubbles to this date, except the top right edge started coming off at the 1-year mark. The bond b/w topsheet and sponge is still good on closer inspection, as the sponge crumbled and bits of it are still attached to the pips.

Viscaria FL - 91g
+ Neo H3 2.15 Blk - 44.5g(55.3g uncut bare)
+ Hexer HD 2.1 Red - 49.3g(68.5g 〃 〃)
= 184.8g

Yes. Way easier than other modern rubbers and will stay that way forever.
First tensor I had ripped after 1 use.

I feel like the ball "wobbles" forward in the air when looping. There is no clear arc for most of the shots. Is this how it should be or? Is it too hard? Needs a boosting?

You're not putting spin on the ball. Work on your contact. You need impact.

IM...PACT!

This line more or less sums up the experience.

Quote Hurricane 3 provincial is a tough adhesive chinese woman and that when played...need to hit harder.

hitting the ball more in front of you, is it the way to go for this?

Contrary to common belief, it's actually more to the side of the body, but that's only secondary.

For hard tacky rubbers like Hurricane 3, the coordinated use of the entire body in the generation of force is Chinese forehand 101. Much of the time put into the looping stroke is spent figuring how to get the ball to dig in.

Brush the ball!! do put forward momentum on the ball but, to get an arc you need to BRUSH the ball when looping.
No need to boost.
