The 70% discount really reduces his chances of getting the blade... just saying...

And the winners are...
These are the final lists, in order of application:
The numbers that were drawn today are, in ascending order: 4 7 10 11 13 38 This means that the first testers will be:
The testing order will be the following:
All the first testers, please send me a PM with your address. SmackDAT, please let us know whether you have an address in US or Canada (this is not urgent, as NextLevel will get the Calix II first). |

The lists are frozen until after the lottery draw (rien ne va plus).
My post was ambiguous regarding address/residency, so I will enforce the less restrictive criterion. If SmackDAT can get to the blade at a US address (travel, middle man), he's in, even if he lives in UK, otherwise we'll skip him when/if it will be his turn. |

This time of year, somewhere good means the USA. In Canada, winter is coming.

Well-spotted: I hadn't noticed his profile says Location=London. Maybe it's London, OH. Well, my original posting was at least ambiguous. First I wrote "US/Canadian residents", then "US or Canadian Address". So I'd say if SmackDAT falls into one of the two cases he's in, otherwise not. For reasons of timing and transparency, I will leave him on the list for the purpose of the lottery drawing, but we'll have to clarify the issue at the latest if and when it will be his turn to test the blade. BTW, I see you are located "Somewhere Good": is that in the US or Canada? Edited by arg0 - 10/17/2017 at 6:19pm |

I understand. I tested the Chedech a few days ago out of curiosity and... actually, no, I won't be tempting you. Suffice to say that I liked the Chedech very much and had little trouble switching from Violin to Chedech, despite it being considerably faster. Still, I'm staying with Violin, and Lissom. |

But Chedech maybe the key to break the 2K, or at least reaffirm the Violin is the one... |

Thanks arg0! I don't spend much time commenting on posts but I'm quite an EJ. Tried many Nexy blades in the past and saw an opportunity to test one that I haven't yet and have been interested in for awhile.

"not post much" sounds like an euphemism... OK MKeats, you're in. This means that MCollins will likely get the
opportunity to test more than one blade. For fairness, I'll allow others to enrol in more than one list, too. No tester may but more than one blade, though. I'll add mhnh007 to the Rubicon list, as well. EDIT: Just for clarification and avoidance of doubt. What I meant is that, since MCollins and MKeats play in the same club, they'd get the chance to test two blades, so I wanted to be fair to the others. MKeats' account was created over a year ago, so all seems legit. Edited by arg0 - 10/17/2017 at 1:12am |

MKeats may not post much, but I can vouch for him... He's a coach at our club and an even bigger EJ than myself. Many people I've dealt with are now playing his old blades :-)

Sorry, it's one blade per tester. I can switch you from the Chedech list to Rubicon, if you prefer having a 100% chance of becoming a tester... But others may still apply for Rubicon, so you never know. |

Man, I didn't notice they were only listed in ascending order, even on the German site... Nevermind, since we use a modulo operation, we can use any ordering and it will still be fair. Thanks for pointing this out, I will update my earlier posts. |

Hey can I sign up for Rubicon, if no one interested. I can do compaction to either TB 7W, RW7, or a more popular Clipper.

The order is not the order the numbers were drawn, it's the numbers in ascending order, as they appear on the site. They are matched to the blades in alphabetical order.
At present, the lists are fairly short: Calix (ST): A, B (2 testers) Calix II (ST): C, D (2 testers) Chedech (FL): E, F, G (3 testers) Peterpan (FL): H, I (2 testers) Rubicon (FL): (0 testers) In your example, the numbers in ascending order are: 1 7 12 23 38 45 1 would be used for Calix 7 would be used for Calix II 12 would be used for Chedech 23 would be used for Peterpan 38 would be used for Rubicon, if there were any testers So: ( 1 mod 2)+1=2. Calix would be tested first by tester B, then A ( 7 mod 2)+1=2. Calix II would be tested first by tester D, then C (12 mod 3)+1=1. Chedech would be tested first by tester E, then F, then G (23 mod 2)+1=2. Peterpan would be tested first by tester I, then H Note that I took the actual names out, because this is just a simulation. The actual drawing will be tomorrow. Edit: procedure updated because the numbers are listed in acending order on the websites. Edited by arg0 - 10/16/2017 at 6:01pm |

Not sure I understand, you don't have to put any number: it's the order in the list that counts.
Have a look at the example in the second post and let me know in case it's not clear. |

JimT gunna luv on the Peter Pan, right up hiz alley. hahahaha triple hahahaaa why no one luvz the Rubicon is mystery city... of course Sherlock Holmes will say that no one will make a stampede for a blade that does what you tell it (and land moar shots / win moar points) instead of being a light saber battle ax. Everyone wants a blade that does everything with control and ridiculous speed... keep looking.
