I have switched to lp palio ck 531a in 0.6mm, using them on stiga infinity.
But, I am attacking very well with them, most of the time. Still have the same problem with longer balls, but off the bounce or at the top of bounce im hitting very consistent attacking shots and the ball is dipping horribly.
Even can attack nothing serves.

Does anyone else mostly attack with lp?

Up until the new 40+ ball was introduced that is what I was doing.  I would think if you are having problems with longer balls try taking a half step or even a full step back when receiving.  It gives you more time to make the appropriate return, and if the ball does come short you probably have already learned how to step in and take it anyway.

I wasn't able to get the same results with the early versions of the 40+ balls, so I moved on to using Medium pips instead.  The newer version of the 40+ balls probably are more consistent than what was available when I made my decision to change, but at this point I'm not looking at going back to long pips.  Good luck and keep practicing.

I meant to include that I was using Butterfly Feint II and Giant Dragon Giant Long, both with a 1.0 mm sponge.  Neither is super grippy,  nor are they slick.  Really all-round long pips.

Which l.p. was he using? I recall reading a post of yours that says he was basically using a medium pip, know the sponge thickness also? Curl p2?

I use Sword LP's OX and find that I can attack most balls with it.

Using LP to attack - I think it is skill dependent.

A club member (rated 600 points above me) and I use the same LP rubber:  Dawei 388D-1 OX.
When he attacks, 9 out of 10 are on the table.
When I attack, only 5 out of 10 land on the table. (The math is not in my favor. The opponent may return 1 or 2 that landed.)

Skill dependent.

I reckon I get 7 or 8 out of 10 on and that's trying to attack everything, but I think I might get someone top count as it would be interesting to know

I used to play with LP for many years and I attacked with them. Best ever I had with 729 Frinesdhip 755 in 1.5mm, Joola Badman Reloalded 1.3mm, and medium pip Globe 888. They have never let me down really.

No, I never found out... curious myself. In 2016 Stefan looked worse, maybe a disease was the reason? I hope he is okay, he played such inspiring fast LP blocks and hits, he was a fat guy's hope for some serious competitiveness. The Lupulescu match was a classic.
