I started learning TT a year ago. Since then, the only blade I have been using is Hurricane Long V. It's a great blade. However, I'd like to try different brands.  I am an offensive player and love attack with power. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated! Btw, my budget is 150 USD. Thank you.

What rating are you at. Long 5 is a pretty unusual blade to start with given its high speed.

If you feel it's a great blade, then stick with it and save yourself $150.

Agreed, if anything, I'd try something slower like a Nittaku Acoustic or Acoustic Carbon

Also h01ng has an awesome almost new acoustic with new rubbers for sale in the selling section of the site, I would totally get it if I were you.

Hello & Welcome pliuya,

Maybe you could state more information about what you’re looking for?
Eg, LF something faster, slower, lighter, heavier, all-wood,composite, 5 or 7 ply?

Think that could aid us in our suggestions to you.

Stick with the the H5Long. It's an excellent blade.
If all your balls are going out of the table get slower rubbers
Blades:
Palio King Yue (82g), Liu Shiwen ZLF (84g)

FH Rubber: 729 Battle II
BH Rubber: Skyline 3-60 soft / Palio AK47 Blue

Haven't tried the H5Long, but all information and to point to it being an excellent blade - for the appropriate level of play. But if the blade is too fast, then I'm not sure that a rubber switch is the right way to go. I know in my case, nothing helps to correct an inappropriate blade except a switch in the blade. But the new blade can be relatively inexpensive and possibly resolve the issues.

He doesn't necessarily have a speeding problem but just wants to try out stuff like he wrote, in which case I recommend to not do that if you have an excellent blade. It's just pointless and more likely to hurt an amateur's play than be any help

Thank you all for the suggestions! I will play match tonight and plan to videotape my performance. It might be a good idea to let you judge my play after watching it. Btw, I am still learning..like a toddler.

Zeropong and aliexpress really can let you go wild with testing. I recommend trying some of the cheaper options out there. Eventually you will want to try the expensive rubber.

I'd just go for extremes to get them out of the way. Go for super light or super heavy. Go for all wood ALL blade or carbon SUPER fast. Go for hard sponge or soft sponge. Really spinny vs less spinny.

You'll maybe actually notice a difference then.
