    Posted: 11/28/2017 at 3:41am
Those who follow the LARC are well aware of the following pending models, but in a recent interview Boll has leaked(by accident) that Butterfly will release a new tacky rubber next year. Spinart was the last such model released. The question is which one(s) will it be?

14-
017 Dignics?
028 Dignics 05?
029 Dignics 80?
030 Dignics 64?

031 Tenergy 05N?
032 Tenergy 05C?

THE DUST HAZARD

The "tacky" will shortly turn into untacky if the playing court's floor dusty.
As being aware of the "dust hazard,, Dimo would always take every due precaution, some obnoxious rite of him, indeed.
I don't like the unsalted food, don't I play tacky rubber either.

Thanks but no thanks, heh.
Got plenty fast, good, tacky rubbers that don't cost $150 already. Butterfly can screw off :)

I've been testing Spinart off and on. It's pretty good, but a little slow. I faster version would be cool. I'll be interested to see what they come out with.

By most accounts, Butterfly has not been very successful when it came to tacky rubber.  But I always enjoyed their tacky offerings.  The classic Tackiness-D (for drive) and Tackiness-C (for chop) were great.  They had a very good run with the Tackifire series with Tackifire Special (KLH used for 2000 Olympics I think), Tackifire C used by Zhang Yining, and Tackifire Drive used by JSH.  All with speed glue of course.  But with SpinArt (I think Ai Fukuhara used for a little while), I'm not sure how that went.  I wish I was their tacky rubber consultant because I would have told them not to release it at 48 degrees Japanese scale.  I would have said "Ok guys, we have T05 at 36 degrees.  Let's give this SpinArt thing a go at 41 degrees same as Tackifire C and see if we can give the "factory tuned" H3 Neo a run for its money."

Maybe you don´t remember but a few will remember that at that time, Butterfly announced another tacky rubber called D´OR  but it never was released due to qualities issues.
Rosewood V FL

Nittaku Fastarc G1-FH

Stiga DNA Pro-S MAX BH

Avoid any Butterfly stuff... at abusive prices. Raw power without control means nothing

D'OR did make it to the market circa March 2004, though for 4 months only before it was recalled. The reason given at the time was "white powder left on the topsheet from playing", an issue that the Tackifire C suffered as well but didn't get pulled for whatever reason.

That could be it, as Boll said the sponge is the same as Tenergy.

But judging from Butterfly's past releases, they have a tradition to separate grippy and tacky rubbers into different lineup.

Won't be long now.  Jun was spotted using new stuff recently, and I think BTY has to respond to some pro (inc JNT) players experimenting with H3 in recent years.
This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.
