I'm just very confused. It's actually challenging to find a camera that can capture with this(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itwn8bLIIH4) quality. Is it some kind of compression? ITTF also have horrid quality. Videos capture from my phone is better than that. What is going on with table tennis production?

TL;DR phone with a tripod can capture a match better than 80% of the ittf 10fps 240p videos.

simple ittf use cheap video service to stream video and low bandwith ittf always had low quality service since the bearded beast started to destroy the sport.
we need a champion as ittf ceo not a bearded loser who never won anything

I don't understand, my friend post video of himself playing. Which is 9gigs and 1.5hr long to youtube. The video got posted within an hour and 1080p quality 60fps up and running.

I would go with 1080p 60fps because 4k files are too big. If you need to edit them it will take a long time.
BTW, 720p 60fps is good enough for me.
