I just read the review thread on here for these two rubbers and i am a little confused. The Euro hardness is apparently 37.5 and the Asia 42.5

Is this Chinese scale or Euro/Japan sponge hardness scale?

I have friendship focus III snipe which is rated 42 and is soft but a 42 on a euro/Japan scale would be hard. 37.5 on Chinese scale would be like mush. Is the Euro DF really that soft?

thanks

Yes they’re on the softer side.
Chinese DHS scale differs from Friendship scale too though

Thanks. I prefer a soft rubber. Medium soft is hardest i would go. Medium throw preferably. Think either of these would suit?

xiom vega asia df is the softest sponge/rubber combination ive ever measured with my durometer.

I switched from joola rhyzm p on backhand to vega asia df and my play instantly got better, which is unusual as it normally takes a few sessions to adjust to a new rubber.

Do or do not, there is no try- Yoda
