It is a Challenge Series, commands lower "Ranking Points" - but it will have more players than many other tournaments.  So far, 291 players entered.

(German open commands much higher Ranking Points, but has only 153 entries so far.)

this is the chance for lower ranked players to get some international results...
In Germany, they know they won't manage to get out of the pool

Perhaps many of these players are attracted by performance enhancing/boosting Polish food: pierogi, bigos, kielbasa ... and drinks: Chopin, Belvedere, Luksusowa

Polish Open now has 300 players - the list is growing.

You are right, may be something very attractive there - in Poland.

The Challenge Series that has the lowest number of players is DPR (or PRK) open in North Korea.
Last year it has only 2 players from another country, KAZ.
ITTF still has that event scheduled in June this year.

Are Jewish boys possessing some eminent faculties for table tennis?

Polish born Aloiz Ehrlich, chronical "chopper", he used oversized odd-looking paddle.
He survived while in the "camp of death" as playing pingpong the camp's chief warden.    German Nazi had a sincere respect for him.

All the pre-war 1920-1940 pingpong champions were of Jewish origin. Why?    Give Your every theory, please.

So far, 305 players have entered, the list is growing.
The Polish Open will have far more players than Qatar Open or German Open.

No USA player entered at this moment.
Canada has 3 players including Eugene Wang.

No player from China.
Japan and Korea, each has 14 players.

Because... ?

We have discussions like these about Chinese players all the time. Why exactly discussing the fact that a lot of pre-war TT champions were of Jewish descent is racist? Would discussing the fact that almost all of the skiing, slalom, biathlon etc. champions of OG-2018 were from Scandinavia and examining this be also racist?

However, since discussions like that almost inevitably lead to people shouting at each other and similar unpleasantness, I would encourage everyone (except Igor, since he has proven himself impervious to all such requests in the past) to move on to something else with more relevance to the Polish Open 2018.

Igor, you have been warned repeatedly. You have not yet learned what is and is not acceptable on North American based websites.

That's what I'm thinking too.  He crushed XX at the 2017 German Open on 11/11/2017 ... about 4 months ago.  Then, to lose 4:0 in the 2nd round of an ITTF Challenge tournament is a head scratcher.

In fairness, I do see that Pavel Sirucek beat Jun Mizutani in 2013 at the World Championships.

6 out of 10 top seeded men's players are out in the 1st round of main draw.

So overrated.
Viscaria FL - 91g
+ Neo H3 2.15 Blk - 44.5g(55.3g uncut bare)
+ Hexer HD 2.1 Red - 49.3g(68.5g 〃 〃)
= 184.8g

The number of times and frequency in which Ho Kwan kit lost to guys outside the top 50s beggars belief. Only lost to Tsuboi(66) a few weeks ago and now Vlasov (92).

In the past 12 months, he has lost to LIAO Cheng-Ting (twice), ROBLES, PUCAR, KOZUL, YOSHIMURA Kazuhiro, Dyjas, RYUZAKI, Jon PERSSON, JANG Woojin, Vlasov, Tsuboi, Fegerl, Gao Ning, Liang Jingkun, all of whom have lower ranking than him.

That is a whopping 15 losses to guys who are lower ranked than him. And I have only counted
ittf events. The story was pretty much the same
back in 2016 and 2015.
Are you sure he is the 32nd best player in the world, Ittf ?

The language used is a large part of the problem.  The belittling term "boys" is always offensive, as is "girls" when talking about women.  Plus referencing Nazis in the same post... especially in the manner in which it was done. Anyone not knowing differently would think that the Nazis were OK guys. As for the Chinese-bashing that goes on, I find that equally offensive.   I am neither Jewish nor Chinese BTW.

This is about table 2.

What is the criteria to trigger the expedite system?
(It takes forever to play just one point.)

That wasn't a game, I think.
They started the expedite system around 1:6 (not exactly sure the score) of the first game.

Question:
How many strokes the server can have before awarding the point to the receiver?

Found this (not sure if its is current):

"2.15.1.4 Thereafter, each player shall serve for 1 point in turn until the end of the game, and if the receiving player or pair makes 13 correct returns in a rally the receiver shall score a point."
