I thought, I would already have seen each old Stiga blade, but today I got one, which I never have seen before. It is a premed blade with Whisp-rubbers. All, this is relatively "common", but this blade seems to be a carbon-blade.

Who knows this kind of blade and can tell me something about it?

Maybe someone has the same blade with Stellan Bengtsson handle. If yes, I would like to add it to my collection.

First of all...

Are you sure it is a carbon blade?

I mean, yes, indeed the black layers seem to be carbon but could it be that they are not?

Could it be some sort of black adhesive or "carbon glue" like Tibhar uses on a lot of their blades?

On the other side of the lens there is the "Ulf Ticket Carlson" lens.

Tomorrow I will add it to my FS-thread.

I was thinking just the opposite.

The supposed carbon layer is simply too thin since in those days (maybe '80s?) it didn't exist "thin carbon" as in Yasaka blades, for example.

It's really an intriguing blade.

Experts in Stiga blades would come in handy right now...

but if you count that every layer must be 8.5% of the overall thickness gotta be less than a hairline I have a donic carbon and the carbon is barely visible
