Good stuff HKL.

4 of us a week ago carpooled from Sacramento to play in Berkley TTC league the night prior to the ICC tourney... an adventure in a lot of ways for forum history.

Hey everyone, Lineup32 recognized and greeted me before I could even locate the bleachers to set down my ruck hehe. We did OK that night, my friends took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place on table 1.

" Bay Area just a crawlin' with TT action."

Lots of clubs and most have quality coaching from beginner on up and more then one coach per club. One cannot over estimate the positive that having quality coaching available for so many clubs has on creating interest in the sport.

Well, you are welcome to come to Alameda to see if you can sweep our Table 1. You will need to be able to beat our national team members to do it.

They did "OK" at the ICC tournament. 1st and 2nd in the Cadet event. (Without our top rated cadet who was grounded.)

Here is group 1 from this past Wednesday:

Ratings are Alameda Ratings.

Instead of carpool, you can take Amtrak to SF, several daily options, from Sacramento.
