Quick question. Digging into my equipment cabinet, I was surprised to find a new tube of Butterfly Chack glue from 10+ year ago and unscrewing the cap, the glue is perfect.  Thought it would dry up by now.

I don't play tournaments. Is this glue still good to use or are today's new glues better?  And it's been so long ago, I no longer remember - after playing for a while, is it easy to remove the rubber?

I don't even remember what the recommendation is for this glue - multiple layers and let dry first like today's glues?

Thanks!

Is it black tag tho.
This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.

Lol!!  You guys are WHACK!   Love the humor.

Sniff it.....really....

Actually I'm out of waterbased glue and wondered if I can just use this and count on it being as good as current glue. Guess I'll just wait a bit more for a serious soul who knows about this old glue  to reply.

:)

No guarantees, but I think it should be okay. If it is not water-based, and it is still liquid, it means the tube was unusually tightly sealed.
I'd try it first on a small piece of rubber, though.
