Why not take the initiative. Buy the rubber and test it yourself. Would be waiting for your review soon.

I've been playing 729 presto spin on my backhand for a few weeks now, and the performance is just awesome. Better than any ESN tensor, I've tried on my backhand. It suits my technique, and so many shots land on the table. It is not very spin sensitive, and has good springy Ness without the catapault. I haven't tried on a wooden blade but it really shines on a carbon one. It can put so much spin, it is enough to put opponents away, something that has been tougher to come by since the ABS Era has come along

WHY HARD SPONGE ???
Hard sponge will give much more Velocity to the ball. HARD sponge is the General Trend of XXI Century, well-fit for the plastic ball. |

I havw watched the review on YouTube and in fact I did like it, but honestly I'm not going to purchase an unknown rubber for 20-23€ by no means, if I can get any well know ESN for 30 or even less.

Thanks. So, it might play similar to Palio AK47/Focus3snipe. I'll probably give it a try later on.
I've tried ak47 and focus 3 snipe before and with no disrespect, they are not as good. Presto just has ridiculously good performance
Sounds good. Do you mean Presto is a better factory tuned rubber over Palio AK47? In that case, is it controllable? I still have a developing forehand. Although I've bought Tibhar MXP,Xiom Vega rubbers, keeping away from these rubbers (for now) as I'm not quite dynamically adapted in changing the angle of my wrist as per the spin on the ball on my FH. Being said, I might try Presto in the future.

Revisiting this thread
Got a sheet of 729 presto spin 44° recently, set it up on my H301. And I'd have to agree that its pretty good non-tacky tensor for a Chinese made rubber. It didn’t had the heavy boost odor unlike other chinese rubbers. I bought 44° to compensate the lack of speed on my forehand but the rubber did not suit my style on FH, probably I try to loop or flick the ball too quick and it bottoms out of the table. Disappointed, I switched the rubber on my backhand play and to my surprise, it feels quite easy when compared to the previous BH rubbers I played with , such as Palio AK47 Yellow, 729 focus3 plus, xiom vega euro etc. The catapult is there , but not too much. Just enough to keep your confidence up on looping an underspin ball. I indeed like the grip on top sheet. When I talk about the grip, I mean it assists the catapult affect from the sponge and increases the quality of the arc. it doesn't stay spin sensitive when ever you've to save the ball with a bare push or a block. Very similar to Xiom vega euro with a bit more speed (may be due to 44 degree sponge). Being said, the topsheet seems fragile though, the edge has chipped off little bit when the racket hit the table slightly. So' I'd have to play for couple more weeks to comment on durability. IMO $20 is well spent and its definitely in equal standards to the European made intermediate level tensor rubbers. Edited by patelaaaa - 07/22/2019 at 5:14pm |

Can you compare it to 3-60 H37 DHS scale?

Can't really compare with DHS 3-60 , never played with it. The only tacky rubber I played with was DHS Hurricane 3 neo, comparing with this rubber its a polar opposite. High throw, bouncy, quick attack are some of the properties of 729 presto. Still playing on my BH.

Heavy enough. I can certainly feel the balance shifting from the FH to BH on the blade due to its weight. But as I’ve played with it more and more, the top sheet started fading more in the middle. Might be since the rubber was zero tacky right from start.

Vega Euro offers tiny bit more spin, arc compared to Presto spin. Honestly, I’d be more confident using Vega on bh as its offers better precision on hard loops and finishing strokes. Presto spin is more linear and given 44 degree sponge, BH topspin stroke can overshoot the ball off the table. Certainly better rubber compared to focus3snipe, Palio AK47 but I’d prefer vega Asia or Euro over Presto anyday.
