TSP Curl p1 0X is suitable for chop - block close - mid distance the table ?

depends on your blade, but the answer is yes. You can also try it with a thin sponge, it would be pretty close to OX and would work better with harder blades.

This is the blade I play with. P1 ox is fine if you are a pure blocker, but to chop - i would strongly recommend p1r with a 0.5 sponge.
