I decided to sell Butterfly Gergely. I've upgraded the blade.
What's done:
1) The blade Size is aligned with modern standards 158-151.
2) The blade is lightweight, cutting a cavity in the handle and in the blade.
3) On the Right: a layer of Hinoki is ground, approximately 0.4 mm and 2 layers of hard veneer 0.2 mm thick are glued cross on the cross.
4) On the Left: completely ground the Hinoki layer to carbon and glued a layer of balsa 1 mm thick+2 layers of hard veneer 0.2 mm thick cross on the cross.
Therefore, the blade was two-faced (it feels good) and the weight balance moved to the head. Unfortunately, I do not have accurate weights, but feels 85-87 grams.
Blade is a tool, not an art object... The price is 150$

I write with the help of an interpreter and apologize in advance for incorrect speech.

This is a nice blade but it has nothing to do with a Gergely, except the lense.

The fact that the old Gergel is almost impossible to find in good condition. Gergel has the top layer of Hinoki and it, unfortunately, breaks down, in addition, Gergel has a very uncomfortable size of the blade and if you do not move the handles up then there are problems with the unification of the overlays. I made the blade much more powerful than the original version, light, two-faced and with a normal size.

From Gergeli: center layer+2 layers carbon fiber on both sides + 0.4 mm Hinoki on one side + handle
Ground on the 1 side of 0.4 mm Hinoki, and on the other 0.7 mm Hinoki, i.e. only the upper veneer. Everything else-GERGELY

the nice fish-scaled top ply wood looks like koto. ( same as TBS or Viscaria), but the composite layer is not ALC. it looks just like T5000. very interesting. some kind of custom made blade and then handle was replaced with that of a Gergely.
I just can"t think of any Butterfly blade was built as such ( a combination of carbon and harder top ply wood). My guess is, it is a heavy (has to be over 90grams), but incredibly fast blade.

On the left-Coto, Right-veneer, which I used. I don't know the name. I repeat: This is Gergely 1990s with the iron butterfly. I have veneer and I use it because I'm interested. I sell only because after Rutis (5,5 mm) Gergel is too thick for me, for a game the ball can hit the edge several times. That's too much
To answer the topic questions and comments like "This is not Gergel" I stop.
