I'm thinking of changing blades because the Hurricane Long 5 has a terrible handle, it's too thin and makes the head of the racket super heavy. Currently Im using the Nittaku Hurricane Pro 3 Turbo Orange on FH (heaviest rubber I've ever used GEEZ), and Hurricane 2 Neo on BH. I'm thinking of getting the W968 (national version of Hurricane Long 5) which has a much thicker handle which will make the head less heavy and be more balanced in weight between the handle and head, which I also believe will improve my reset speed and increase my acceleration speed on strokes. (I'm definitely gonna stop using the Nittaku Hurricane Pro 3 Turbo Orange after it dies and go back to Hurricane 3 Neo boosted). I'm also very open to trying other tacky Chinese rubbers which are light weight and similar power as Hurricane 3 Neo boosted. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately the balance wont change much. On average 65-75g is in the actual blade plys and both handles usually weigh 20-25g. Go back to H3 Neo if it's lighter. You can also try a softer h3 on the BH like 37 degree or possibly a European/japanese rubber. Joola Golden Tango PS is a nice alternative to a Chinese rubber.

Holy crap.
I have a 193.5g setup, and for amateurs i think thatd definitely on the heavier side of things. Mxp and omega 5 tour are heavy rubbers! |

Softer sponges or bigger pore sponges can reduce the weight.

If you are willing to you can actually cut/sand the blade down to change the balance and weight. This is a lot of work though. Also is 205 grams really that heavy? I play with a much heavier racket; however, I realise everyone has different preferences and limitations.

It depends on the type of strokes you have, for me who relies heavily on my chiquita and wristy backhands, the weight matters a lot for wrist comfort... |

Why don't you buy a ST handle HL5 and the balance will be different than the FL version
