I remember when I played with the Mazunov, the overall racket weight was around 235 grams, with the blade being around 120grams.
I still have two of my old Mazunov blades and when I am finally done breaking all my old Stigas, I will probably switch back to it. I am not terribly sensitive to overall weight of the racket. That is mostly a matter of getting used to it. However, I do like head heavy blades. ILya

My God - 235 grams?!?! Are you kidding? I remember last summer my team mate didn't clean more than 20 games his bat (only added glue) and finally he made it 212 grams which was completely impossible to play normal. I clean 20 grams glue from rubbers then his bat gone again normal. I have played myself maximum 200 grams bats but mostly I prefer up to 195 grams. If you want I can offer you many DHS blades 100+ grams, one is even 130 or more, also my 729 that I bought from Canada is 128 grams, but I realized that weight after I removed rubbers to all blades. That Friendship is a beast! This one is 110 grams, fast as best Schlager carbon OFF+ or even faster! Tomorrow I will check the real weight of my heaviest DHS and I believe it is 130+ It is really ....B I G.... A very close friend gave me in trade one 102 grams DHS blade which is very good for playing too. It was a blade of our former national coach: |

I have a couple "light" JSHs... 102 and 103 or something like that. They go up to 110 depending on thickness. My VKMO is only 94-95g and feels feather-light.

I found my DHS BIG SIZE is ONLY 131 grams. Still Not Enough Heavy. Another one is The Boss here - a russian bat with unusual shape and handle. It is 137 grams... Could someone beat that record? Nobody? |
