Got a 103 g one. Very good grains. Much better quality than Butterfly Cypress G-MAX/RSM G-MAX.

20 000 JPY after discount. It's less expensive compared to Butterfly Cypress G-MAX/RSM G-MAX/JP-I.

Very nice Chico!
I used to have one too, but old version (different markings on face)

May I know where did you purchase your blade from?

Great! Time to remove the cork sheet at the back and dissolve the annoying black paint!!

It was handpicked by a Japanese friend of mine. Right now, I believe, this is the highest quality kiso hinoki you can find. Not even Darker and Kokutaku would come close.

If you are on the forum, then you already have plenty of time to waste. So it is no big deal...

  Hi ChichoFicho,

What are the latest you have on this blade ? Are you happy with it ? Has it got that ' brute power ' as claimed ? Do you still maintain it is of better quality ccompared to Butterfly Cypress G-Max/RSM G-Max ? Any comparision to Darker S90 ? Or have you err ... dispose it ?  LOL Thanks
