Anyone else having problems with Simply Compete?

The system does not accept a manual LEAGUE rating intervention (pass 3) for one of my clubmates. I should add, the system did this correctly several weeks ago, and then 'forgot' the manual adjustment.

I also noticed two changes in SimpleCompete which look like glitches (bad update?)

a) clicking on the upper-right corner image of SC no longer returns you to the website's start page

b) in the +/- column which lists player's rating deltas for every match in a tournament there are no signs anymore - all numbers are non-negative. They used to carry proper signs like "-20" and that was the absolutely right thing to show.

Thanks Jim. I contacted SC and they are working on the issue, hoping to have it resolved by the end of today.

This stuff has been ridiculous with our ratings system.

USATT has (do they? They ought to have a contract) an agreement with SC to provide a service. It is a basic function of executive management to ensure agreements and contracts have clear language as to the scope of work and clearly defined/measurable standards to achieve with standards for remedy.

Clearly defining objective and performance standards, then clearly communicating in writing for legal agreements and a legal review are basic responsibilities of senior management in any outfit.

Why the heck are we still messing around with this stuff? This was supposed to be squared away years ago. USATT members are so devoted to the ratings, it is pretty much the number one priority of membership (yeah, it is a wrong priority, but a reality) so management is right to address this with the outfit they chose to do the job in the contract before services begin to ensure there is a clear path to acceptable performance and redress of issues.

This is a software issue regarding the league rating side. This is not a issue on the tournament rating process side.
