Perhaps you can be a bit more descriptive on what this is?

Surely 'some link they shared in TTD' is all the info you could ever ask for. Next you'll want for people will to embed their links, provide a short summary of the link's content and even comment. |

It's the best seller list from the biggest French retailer. It looks very different than any other country I guarantee it!

Don't take this list for granted. Wack is the biggest retailer, yes, but only 25-30% or the market. They have big contracted clubs to whom they sell products with the biggest margin. If this list is accurate, it just shows what products Wack pushes to sell, not what thé large majority of french players use.
If that list sounds odd to you, it is quite normal ... |

Does that mean the notion of French players' peculiar taste for soft/thin rubbers and blades are the works of the shills?

Exactly what Jolan said.
They don't even have a BTY contract in France, and therefore do not sell BTY products. Ignore this list.

lebesson is the only popular player I know who uses soft and slow equipment (fx-p and lebesson blade).
so there's still probably some truth to the list.

No there isn't. Can you please trust the few French players (at least Jolan!) who know about this particular market and store?

I think only people who are "really" into the sport will buy an alc blade.
And this is after some time, years in general. The big market is rubbers like sriver and 5 ply off-/off blades. I think this list reflects that pretty well.
