When I seal on my new blades, I use poly-on Satin including wings and it definitely prevents stains.

Is there a difference between a lacquer and a sealer? Would it help prevent sweat stains on the wings of the blade?
If it's a new blade is there a way to prevent this from happening to begin with? |
