did you ever buy a setup to mimic another player?
but.......not a top ittf player.
just some guy who probably kicked your ass and you decided to copy.
or maybe somebody you admire or who's game you respect.
but you have to know him/her personally.

if you have please specify which setup it was you copied, and if you are still using it.

one of the best flat hitters I know plays with Tibhar IV-S i tried it and it's great for flat hitting and blocking but for the sweet spot is slightly too small so I didn't use it as my main blade.

Rubber wise i copied mattias karlsson rakza po on forehand and my training partners tibhar speedy soft dtecs for backhand. However the speedy soft dtecs is very disturbing and fun to play with it's too funky for me so I will switch to moristo sp (mima ito). Looking at other people's equipment can be a guide line for what's a good rubber or blade for a certain style. Personal preference is key though.
