You should start my defining "best quality." Different people may consider different qualities more important. Are you looking for the most durable table? The fastest table? Do you like a table that plays slow? What qualities are most important to you? One important factor for me is low glare. Some table tops are painted with paint that is too reflective and the tables have a lot of glare from overhead lights.

well, the most important feature and first off all "the best quality" means the thickness of the playing surface. it should be 25 mm thick. It will give the best and consistent bounce and is used for all pro tables and tournaments. Only then come other secondary features as anti glare coating (more important for outdoor tables), sturdiness, how easy it is to fold, protected corners, racket holders, auto folding nets, wheel brakes...

I agree, 25mm is the best thickness for tables. I´ve played in some 30mm tables and they are too fast and ball bounces too high. That said, there are a lot of good 25mm tables but the best I´ve played on was BTY Centrefold Rollaway.
