Since I'm told they are using Stag table tennis balls at the World Parkinson's TT Championships Oct. 11-13, I'm debating whether to get a bunch of them for students. (I'll be coaching there.) Or are they the same as some other commonly used balls, but with "Stag" stamped on them? Anybody know? (I have boxes of many brands for use before tournaments, and am hoping I already have ones that match.) (Note - in my original note I said they were also using Stag balls at the US Open in December, but they are using Stag tables there, with Nittaku balls.)

They are the same as DHS D40+, the slight difference being that they are not so rough to start out with.

No they are so different. Stag balls are far better.
But I searched and searched none of known table tennis stores sell them. |

STAG TT balls are supposed to be re-branded XuShaoFa 40+ balls.
There is both Seam and Seamless variations. STAG Premium 40+ balls are the ones used in India for all ranked TTFI tournaments. The seamed ball gets very slick very fast and it feels light ( I think similar is Nittaku Premium but Nittaku is waaaay better quality and doesn't get slick with use ). The STAG TT balls that I buy are called STAG Supreme 40+ ... which is still seam ball but the quality is far better than the Premium version. All the STAG Premium and Supreme are marked as "Made in China".

Stag balls are abs balls, obviously totally different from xushaofa balls. A ball similar to Stag can be the Tibhar balls, dhs and Joola prime balls are a bit heavier than Stag but the feeling is the same
