hi,
What is the best way to glue the pips to achieve maximum reversal? Currently I use a layer or two of lacquer followed by one thin layer of free chack pro II on the wood and a thin layer of free chack pro II on the rubber.

more about stretching the pips onto the blade than the glue, increases the space between the pips but not easy to do more chance of success with a repositional glue like you get at craft stores.
Alternatively you can get specials pre stretched onto a glue sheet at some on line stores

Thanks, is there an ITTF rule about how spaced the pips can be from the stretching?
