Hello! I encountered the following situation, and I don't know what to believe ...
Two months ago I bought a 1.9mm D09C from the official Butterfly dealer. One week ago, I bought another 2.1mm D09C from a person who gave it cheaper than the official price.
Now, the differences between the two rubbers purchased are in appearance (the bottom of the rubber, how the 2.1mm was cut, with burr, and the packaging, the lack of TPE stamp on the paper packaging, instead it is applied on the plastic wrap), as seen:

What do you guys believe? Both rubbers are real or the 2.1mm is fake?
I only played once the 2.1mm, it seems a little softer than the 1.9, but I could attribute this to the fact that it is thicker...

perhaps your 2.1 rubber is a factory B-grade .. rubber that didn't pass QC. But honestly I am looking at the photo where you have two paddles side by side and not seeing what you're seeing. Both look fine to me.

Look at the burr at the bottom of the trubber, at the handle. It exists, and it's asymmetrical.

Butterfly rubbers have individual ser. numbers - you find one of them on the package - and the same one on the sponge. Check this first...
The uneven cut at the bottom line is a typical sign for some fake products and so far I've personally not seen a real one with this problem.
Fake products usually don't use individual ser. numbers - same number is used again and again
Hope this helps a little bit

Both are fake. Enough just to look at the price.
