I've been asked by several newbie members to provide my domestic (USA) resource list for gear:

  • MYTT Forum (By far my most used resource. Hundreds and hundreds of good interactions over the past 14-years and only two bad ones).
  • http://colestt.com (Unrivaled personal attention and prices for Chinese stuff. The absolute best custom racket covering service. Cole is extremely honest and tries his best to help players get what they need for less $).
  • https://tabletennisvault.com (Formerly a big eBay dealer. Now independent. Be sure to get 20% off and spend enough for free ship).
  • https://www.tabletennisonly.com (Ask for JZ. He's often the first to get the new, cool stuff. Spend over $25 for free ship).
  • https://www.paddlepalace.com (Excellent combo specials)
  • https://www.tabletennisstore.us (Ask for Ben. Sweet inventory and customer service).
  • https://re-impact-blades.com (Ask for Achim. The very best in dark-side blades for pip players and/or players with disabilities). Note: German company.
  • http://nexy.com or https://nexyusa.com (Fantastic alternative hi-end gear. Creative. Unique).
  • https://www.zeropong.com (Features their own line of Gambler stuff - bulk training balls, blades and rackets).
  • http://rossleidy.com (Ross designs and builds amazing custom-made blades).
  • http://www.bladesbycharlie.com (Charlie makes some hard-hitting beasts).
  • Bob Petty of Table Tennis International (This guy has been selling gear since JFK was president. He deals old school. Call or email him. He’ll send you a catalogue. You send a check. Sounds slow, but he’s fast and his prices are great, especially for the high end stuff). Tel: (817) 868-7664 Email:  [email protected]
First time buyers should mention, “Tommy Zai” sent me! ;-)

Over the years I have also used:
  • https://www.eacheng.net (Good if you want to look for a diamond in the rough . . . order a bunch of cheap rubbers).
  • https://www.aliexpress.com (Great prices and cheap ship, but many sellers . . . hit or miss quality).
  • https://www.dandoy-sports.com (Look for sales and hope they process the order within a month or two).
  • https://www.tabletennis11.com (Look for weekly sales). Need to place a substantial order to make it worthwhile).
  • https://www.iruiru.com (lovely quality Hinoki blades)
  • https://www.pingpongonline.com (Back in the day, they sold me a dozen lightweight Ciippers when nobody else had them. Based in the Philippines)

Just curious, what's your personal history with tt11? did they disrespect you or something?

No disrespect. No relationship. Only a couple transactions. The above are the distributors I have a relationship with and deal with.

Tommy,

I sometimes hit with JZ on Tuesdays. He is usually 2100-2200 level, now turned total evil from 2x inverted and now plays with a very well developed soft touch LP block and FH SP power Pulverizer kinda game.

As if EJers actually need a supplier list...

For me its coles and zeropong from this list and TT11 for non-chinese stuff. When I just have to try something exotic and not locally available eacheng usually scratches that itch.

I am not surprised Jian (JZ) is a high level player who can play a variety of styles. He is extremely knowledgable. I wish I could hit with him . . . Sacramento area? In the past I visited friends in Roseville/Folsom. I wish I had the chance to knock the ball around with him.

My experience with Charlie is limited, but I/we know many players who have used his building service. I believe he has set models and shapes, but can modify to order. I was really impressed with his "Ghost" blade. I wrote a review on another model, but I haven't posted yet. I'm awaiting confirmation about some of the materials used.

The TT action should start back up sometime in Citrus Heights Tues and Fri PM where JZ runs the 2.5 hr 2 rows of table play sessions.

I really only hit with him when he is in the mood to practice blocking BH topspins, which is about every time I manage to visit his operation.
