https://www.tt-shop.com/com_eng/table-tennis-rubbers/donic-rubbers/donic-baracuda-rubbers.html
and
https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/donic-baracuda
show two different packages for Donic Baracuda (the first one has FD3 instead of FD). Anyone knows if there are two versions of the rubber?

I don't think OP is referring to barracuda big slam vs barracuda; OP is noticing that the pictures of the packaging are different on the two websites. The top left corner says "Formula Donic FD3 3rd generation" in one and "FD The Formula Donic" in the other. I don't know for sure if they are different or not, but I think the packaging has most likely been updated since Barracuda first came out. Some websites may not have updated their pictures.

Indeed, this question is only about Baracuda, not Baracuda Big Slam. FD3 seems like a newer technology (or just new marketing?).

What brought the question is that I bought a black (FD3) 1.8 Baracuda from tabletennis11 because I wanted its "easy spin". I boosted it once with Falco Long and it did have some effect (corners curved up). Two days later, rubber still curved, I glued it with a very thin layer of glue on my (lightweight) Stiga Allround Classic blades.

The result is only about as spiny and springy as a Mark V. Sure, my technique is weak, still I can get more spin and speed on counters and loops vs block from an 1.8 Vega Europa or my old 1.8 Fastarc G1. I used this rubber for 6 hours and it got a tiny bit more alive. Any suggestion on how this Baracuda can be salvaged, if possible?

Update: I removed the Baracuda and splurged on a Tenergy 05 FX and it is
everything I hoped Baracuda would be, while weighing 4g less.
