it's the same as the other side - there is no plastic nameplate on the other side either.

from the looks of the finishing and grain pattern this blade should be a mass ordered "custom" by a taiwan shop. the price of this blade brand new costs around 120usd. there should be a stamp of the distributor on one side of the handle in chinese characters 生明贸易.

I'm sorry but there are no chinese characters '生明贸易' on the other side. Since I am not purchase the blade in new condition I am unable to confirm if it is the blade that you showed. However, from the person whom I purchased from it is said to be custom-made by Butterfly in Japan, and I trust him.
