Forum members and Mods, I need your help.
I recently purchased used rubbers from a forum member, from whom I have purchased used rubbers before without a problem, upon receiving the rubbers this time, I discover that one of them has a half inch tear on the sponge. I am still trying to resovlve the dispute with the seller, who seem unwilling to take any responsibility.
What can I do?

the top sheet looks sticky, what has been applied on? Did that seller clarify that there was already a tear like so? If he said no that means he misled u or provided u w/wrong info. Can u not go to paypal to dispute this transaction? I've never done this b4 & hope that other forum member could advise & help.
It may not be an expensive used rbr but for me, once burnt twice shy(?) & I'd be a lil choked & won't deal w/this seller again.

Thanks Tieh. The seller describe the rubber as "as new". no mention of the glue or tear. I purchased from this user before without problem, and did not ask for photo of sponge before purchase. I never wanted to do this on the forum, but the seller's reponse so far that forced me to seek help from forum members.
BTW, I found that most seller in this forum are honest and take responsibility for what they sell.

For buyers and sellers alike, it really pays to ask every possible question before completing the transaction. Especially the 'not satisfied with purchase' scenario.

It is not such a big problem. Glue it on the blade and it will play fine. If you really need to seal the tear, a drop of krazy glue will hold it together (I have done that before when I tore my rubber during games and it works).

Yeah usually I wouldn't suggest revealing the seller but your photo says it all. Also link the thread in which the rubber condition was described like new.

holda, MildSeven, seller told me that he was not aware of the tear when listing it. It was his reply to my pm to him reporting the problem that pissed me off. He kind of said that the rubbers are selling for $80 when new, and you only paid $30 for them....
What a joke. The posting has been edited and I can't find it. Since the seller, after reading this post, is willing to resolve the problem. I will give him the benifit of the doubt....
Thank you all for reading my post and jumping in.
Best,
Erik

Eric,
$80 for a piece of rubber? that doesn't sound right...
Spin Art, T05, T05 FX are only in the $65~$68 range. So this must be a Pro Version of some
Chinese Rubber.
