72 YEARS OLD George Hendry beat 2456 rated Peruvian national player at the 1991 US Open witnessed by Danny Seemiller.

George played a great angle blocking style using 4H - short pips and BH long pips. He would slow hit with 4H against back spin at great angles.

I visited the St Louis club one Saturday when George was in his early 70's. Players were lined up to play him. I saw bullet looper after looper walk away in defeat shaking their heads.

thanks,found some Marty stories,they were very insightful,always played to win,never to avoid losing, a fault with lots of players today.
