Just got a sheet for my friend, black max 47.5 and i can tell its noticeably softer than blitz. Its probably due to the porous sponge that provides the elasticity. If i get his permission to try it i will write a further review. From the first impression it looks Palio did great on improving Blitz.

Aeolus is indeed a very good successor to Blitz... but 47.5 version to me felt same as Blitz in terms of hardness |

After trying the rubber for 2-3 days i have to say its faster, has a little better feeling - probably because it is a bit softer than Blitz - and i think it is less spiny on brushing and a bit harder to do, normal spin was better and faster.
Take my review with lots grains of salt because i tried it for a little time for a proper review and my Blitz is like 2-3 years old! and i am used to it. Though i think it wouldnt change much my opinion, generally has better feeling but for me i think its not the one, i will order a new sheet of Blitz and try to compare more. Peace
