I was asked recently for the lightest inverted rubbers. I replied that Stiga Innova was pretty light at the time it was introduced but I didn't know what was now available.
Which ones are now regarded as light standard-type rubbers and tensor/spring types? And which are the ones to avoid if heavy weight is an issue? |

Soft modern Stiga rubbers (Boost ts/tc, Calibra LT sound, Tour S) are, if not the lightest, quite light at least.

Some light standard type rubbers that I've used are LKT Pro XT and Gambler Aces High Speed.

New KTL rubbers - Red Diamond Mechanical and Black Power Mechanical - are really light. About 37-39 g cut, with 2.15 sponge thickness (the only one available).
They are (unfortunately) very fast, which makes me wonder why wouldn't they manufacture a slightly thinner version... like 1.9 mm - those could be really popular. For instance, RDMech is currently my preferred substitute for (much more expensive) T-80/T-64 on forehand. |

Thanks, to all of you for the suggestions.I think I'll recommend the Calibra and Tour.
It seems as if the Stiga engineers have a tendency to lighter rubber from the Innova days. |

If you want light TENSORs, look for the soft sponges.

Stiga Magna TC II max - 40 grams cut for Stiga Clipper Wood (158 x 150 mm)
Joola Phenix 2.0 - also cut for Clipper 41 gram Killerspin Fortissimo 2.0 - same blade 40 grams Stiga Calibra LT 2.0 - same blade 42 grams Xiom Vega Europe max - same blade 42 grams Victas V>01 Limber max - same blade 44 grams Just for comparison, Rakza 7 max cut for Clipper is 51 gram, Tenergy and H3 NEO also around 50 grams, both in max. EDIT: To be more exact. Tenergy is 2.1 mm and 51 grams and H3 Neo is 2.15 and 49 grams cut. Out of all rubbers mentioned above, i love combination with Rakza 7 on FH and Phenix on BH and will most certainly put Rakza on FH instead of Limber really soon, even though Limber is a great rubber also, but just a bit softer than i like for FH.
