My current blade is Stiga Clipper CR. Are there blades with softer feel but more or less the same speed as a Clipper CR?

Thanks.

Stiga Evolution.
Cheaper than buying a new blade, you could also rub in pure linseed oil on the Clipper. Wait about 3-4 days between applications. Allow for the blade weight increasing by about 1-2g for each applications.
Blade:
Darker Speed90
Rubber Fh and Bh DHS Hurricane 3, 39/38deg

Delusion is an asset

TG506 and its derivatives (HL3...) is in the clipper family, with really soft feel.

many options given are ok, but there is huge change in fell due to different woods used...clipper is a limba based blade...something similar feel that is softer is not easy to find unless you change the feel and loose some speed...i found the Samsonov force pro black edition to be similar to what you are looking for...

Viscaria, Ma Long 5, Old Clippers, BTY Ovtcharov and Various Custom blades

Are there any systematical comparisons between
force-pro and CL? looping, spin, control, speed,
and power? thanks.

I am ok with a slower blade since I can compensate it with faster rubbers.

The reason why I am looking for a softer, perhaps a little bit slower blade is because it is a bit mentally tiring to play with the Clipper. There are times when I would just like to play casually with my father and some friends but the Clipper is too fast for my stroke. I find myself always having to restrain myself.

Yasaka Galaxya

Identical wood to Clipper, no CR layer so it feels softer.  It is thin like the old generation clipper (mine is 5.9mm).

I am in the process of reviewing one now.

But if you like the 7mm blades, why not go for Clipper wood if CR is too fast?

If I sand off the CR layer, would it feel a bit softer?

OSP Virtuoso Off- but is very fast - much more of an Off blade than an Off- , soft feel, very controlled too... simply excellent.

+1, Yasaka Galaxya is like a toned down Clipper CR with a softer feel Exactly what you seek. The FL handle is a tic slimmer than Stiga Legend but still feels nice.

For an even softer feel PG7 or Xiom Solo.

I have a Kokutaku Laser Carbon which is almost a decade older than my JRE. Faster and suppose to be more solid but feels softer.

I have trouble picking which of the two as my main blade, though I usually tend to pick the JRE psychologically, but I always go back and forth between them. JRE being a more aggressive while the Kokutaku being more in a safe zone due to it's softness that gives me superb control than JRE.

I pick JRE more often for it makes me experiment more, and somehow I kinda tend to hit and swing harder with it. I guess that is why is named carries that word "Emotion" with it. It serves the purpose for me.

But, yeah overall solid and a bit fast with a touch of softness, is my Kokutaku Laser Carbon.. not too fast though, more like in an OFF.. Soft when you are passive and clicks as needed when you're active. One thing I like more with it is its handle. My ST handle is contoured and shaped that is somewhat semi-configured for right handed players. Dunno if that is the same with other handle types.

I'm even tempted to get the Power version of it in a 7 ply blade which is suppose to be faster, I do hope they retained the softness in feel in it.. Outer ply is Hinoki.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I have trimmed my choices down to DHS PG7 or Adidas Strike Wood 7 as these are readily available where I am.
