What is the best quality tournament or olympic grade ping pong table for inside? Butterfly, Donic, Joola, etc.
Please mention the model name or number. Thanks in advance. |

butterfly centerfold 25. however, if you plan on unfolding it every time you play and folding it up every time you are done playing, look elsewhere, imo.

My favorite table is Butterfly Europa with the wooden legs. New models come with aluminum legs.

I´ve played on BTY Centrefold, TSP 30mm, Tibhar 28mm but none come close to San-Ei 25mm.

The Spintech Luminus is the nicest table I've ever played on, though the 1960s Detroiters weren't that bad.
The Luminus comes in blue, takes spin very well, the 40 mm. ball didn't drop like a stone thrown off a cliff, loops come out to you, chops bite, and smashes carom into the cheap seats. A fast table, and even though I'm, as everyone knows on this forum by now, a hardbat player, I like a fast table with a true bounce, At $1,750, however, the Luminus ain't cheap. |

I think there should be two best table selections or categories. One that is good for setting up and taking folding away and the other for stationary tables.
The PTTC got some Stiga tables with a 30mm thick top. The quality seems to be very good. I have a cheaper Stiga table about $650 and the quality is VERY poor. Edited by pnachtwey - 04/26/2015 at 12:54am |
