maybe NOT. 999T is more or less the same as H3 (some claim to be faster). why not get an official defensive rubber. something like Moristo DF, Tackiness D, Tackiness C.......

Gotta go with Tackiness Chop. Not too fast and superspin.

It's made for you.

Globe 999 is used by many of Swedens best def-players, so it cant be all bad

I use it myself and I like it but think its a little bit to slow for me, but I am not a pure def-player.

If a where a serious def I would probably look for something with pips out rather than a pips-in rubber.

Maybe somone can help you choosing a pips-out rubber, I am sorry that I cant

Good luck!

It depends on wt u do most, if your game is more the underspin u need a rubber with  soft sponge this gives u more control and can produce more underspin cause of the mechanical spin.

In my case (agressive chopper) I use mi fh underspin just once in a while, i usualy conteratack thats why I use a faster rubber

Joo Se Hyuk's own Tackifire Drive worked well for me when I was a chopper then again. It's a nice, controlled rubber to use if you counterloop everyone once in awhile too.
