Hi all,
This is my second thread. Does anyone has Y&T V988 table tennis robot? I want to buy either this robot or robo-pong 2040. What's pros and cons about these two?

From what i've heard both can't do no spin ball. From the appearance, I prefer Y&T because it looks more durable, sturdy and well built. But any comments are welcome.

Both have similar pricing at around usd 600.

tx

Hi lildudejds
yes, v988 has a recycling net. If I'm not mistaken in the past, it used the stiga brand robo.

there are a few model, but the top of the line was v988 and v989. I heard that the difference is in the program, the last one can provide left-left (2 times) then right-right ball, while others can't.

The latest v989d actually has two wheels, so it CAN do no-spin balls. haven't seen much feedback on it though...

Tx for your input haggisv,
is v989d different from v989? There is only v989 without d available in my country. It is a gold colored robot.

Yes the 989d is their latest model, they still have all the earlier models too.

I got the catalogue from the manufacturer, not sure who's actually selling these outside China... Paddle Palace perhaps?
