Nah.
It's thinner than the master flared.

How much did you pay for it?

All handles have the same price?

I paid $119 for a FL. Played with it for an hour today. Here is some initial findings:

cons: The top ply is some hard material, so it doesn't bite the ball as well as my NP700, my loops are not as spinny as with my NP700. Both are glued with the same rubbers on both forehand and backhand. The handle still feels small to me. I am 5'9 with long fingers, so if you are a 6 footer the handle may feel small to you, although I have to say this is something that you may get used to over time.

Pros: very clean control over the ball. I get more feedback from the Violin than from NP700. Back hand quick blocks and flippers are cleaner and more consistent. I use short pip-out on backhand, and need hard top ply to be consistent.

My partner couldn't hanle my loop before, but he was able to counter several back to me today. I could tell the difference in spin. So I need to use some softer rubber to get a better "bite" on the ball. Any suggestions guys? my current set up is

forehand: sriver, backhand: dawei 388c-1 short pips.

$119!!!! where did you get it from? I paid $90.

Like I said before...Handle is really small but I'm getting use to it. I have more anspin but less speed than my old blade, Andro CL OFF+.

And you are another one who feel that control is SO GOOD, I'm getting one for my dad's birthday. My counter loop is better also.

You need more handspeed, it takes more than an hour to get used to a new blade. It took me a few weeks to get back to my old level.

$90 is a super deal for this blade. $119 was the best I could find. paddlepalace sells it for $149. At the end, the price doesn't matter as long as i plays well.

where did you get the violin for 90? The cheapest I could find was 109 from presports and that's without shipping.

Any info would be great. Thanks
