Even though it's not on the official LARC out this year, Xiom told me they are considering releasing Vega Elite DF. I just don't know when.
Blade - Xiom 36.5 ALX FL
Forehand - Xiom Omega V Asia 2.0mm
Backhand - Victas Curl P5V with Der Materialspezialist Firestorm Soft/Outkill 1.8mm sponge

Andy, i hope that you will review it in the week of its release .

Im contemplating getting either vega china or Lidu Gold.
But if Shining dragon comes with blue sponge and decent speed, itll be my go to forehand.

So if the sponge had identical properties but was white instead of blue you wouldn't use it?

I am curious to learn more about the Andro Rasanter series (translated from German: "more Rasant"). Is it an updated Rasant line with even more grippy topsheets? Anyone with insight?

Poor people who opted to try the new Stiga pips, just to see it being withdrawn less than a year on the market...

I would.
But blue sponge with tacky top at least means that they are trying to appeal to the dhs blue sponge customers.

Ah man, I'm out of the game these days.  I keep trying things and then going back to my normal setup, and I'm not as interested in trying stuff out as much now.  Maybe I'm coming down with something - I'm testing short pips at the moment, which says something about my current mental state.

The news is that Shining Dragon will have a 2 degree softer sponge than Rising, and will be a little lighter as a consequence.  Not sure about topsheet differences yet.

No insight, but I like the way Andro is going with the naming.  Next year we can have Rasanterer.  And so on.

  GTT
Good (who came up with this name?)

explanation for "good" :

ALPHA PRODUCT 06-2016 // #alphaProduct

Today we share GOOD news.
GOOD is our simple yet effective message the pretty non-transparent rubber market was waiting for. To be honest, most players are overestimating themselves when picking one of the high performance rubbers and fail to control the special rubber profiles made for pros or top level amateurs. When creating this new generation rubber we focused on maximum controllability blended with precise active spin power. After the final test session our head of product development came up with a quite open statement: „really, really good“. So the name of our new rubber was born and it tells the whole story. Crisp top spins, due to the spinny top sheet, safe blocks and precise counterattacks will be easy for the classic allrounder and younger players still developing their technique. Another good news: GOOD will be out for sale from mid of June.

I still see some rubbers on the LARC that are still approved but not being sold anymore.  Tackifire Special and Cermet come to mind.  Is Butterfly continually paying for being on the list?
