MAke sure that you always keep it dust-free when not playing (store it in a bag). Wipe it with water and a sponge after each time you play.

There are some 'sticky' rubber protection films you can buy, which help. Butterfly has them and a few others seel tyhem too.

I don't think that "sticky film" helps anything, I asked distributor.

Just keep it in dust-free condition.

Yes that's right, it keeps the dust off and stops it from drying out.

It won't do much else, but that's still useful...

Do you think that sticky protectors would go bad with chinese topsheets?
Peace out.

I don't think it will harm them...just make sure you can get them off again!!!

No seriously, the non-sticky ones seem to make chinese rubbers more sticky, or at least maintain their tackiness... the sticky ones don't seem to do that...

How do I get greasy oil stains off chinese sticky rubber?  I use a bit of dish soap and it didnt get rid of it.  I dont think it is affecting my playing, but it does look ugly.  When i work up a sweat and it drips on the paddle, I wipe it up with my hand.  I have to stop doing this.

Donic protective film is thicker than Butterfly's. I like Donic more.I find that protective film is very useful to maintain the condition of the rubber.

I use sticky protective films and they work great for mantaining my rubbers in good shape.  But I always clean them with water after playing.
