I finally got a pair of 2.0 Barracuda's......love the topsheet....cant stand the dead hard sponge. I thought they used a 45 degree sponge? Feels harder or deader than my old Rakza regulars though.
Are there any other Donic rubbers that use/used the same topsheet as Barracuda that are softer sponged or maybe slightly bouncer? I had the worst time looping with Barracuda on a Innerforce ZLC....couldnt believe it. I have been using Vega Japan and like it...just wanted something slightly softer with a grippier topsheet. Trying Tibhar FX-S....but the sponge is a bit to quick in its bounciness. |

Baracuda big slam is softer but slower. Boosting your existing sheet of baracuda might solve your problem.

If you decide to boost I would use Falco long, the effect wears off quickly with normal booster. The Barracuda improvement after boosting is incredible

I have only hit with it a few times (maybe 1 hr total) on a Primorac blade, but Tibhar EL-S reminded me of Baracuda only with a bit little pop. I have no experience with how EL-S compares to FX-S.
