Hello!

I'm looking for new rubbers for the next season. Which of the new rubbers would you recommend me as T05 FX alternatives? T05 FX is great, but too expensive. I'd like to have similar bounciness, high throw, speed and very similar hardness. This would be for my BH.

I'm also looking for a new FH rubber, with the same characteristics as stated above, but it should be a bit harder rubber, around 45 degrees. Or to put it in other way, the hardness should be between T05 and T05FX. What about Omega VII Pro or Rhyzer 43?

Thank you.

Omega 7 Pro is a great rubber but a lot faster than the 05FX. It's hardness is also more towards 47 degrees. Less bouncy as well but very easy to play

Really?

I'm currently playing with T05FX 2.1 on my BH and with Baracuda 2.0 on my FH, and T05 FX is definitely faster than Baracuda. Donic claims that Baracuda has speed 10, while M2 has speed 9++

I'm open to discussion about this.

Even i feel m2 would be a bit faster than 05fx. Baracuda is definily not that fast, donics rating system is just messed up or maybe they mean to say that baracuda doesn't have many gears with respect to pure speed and hence a solid '10' as its speed rating, whereas with m2 it will feel faster with a full swing due to the catapult and hence they rate it 9++.

baracuda is just harder, hence faster on high impact. m2 is faster on most shots though.
m2 is good if u like spongy feel. aurus select is also good and 45 but more for control

Xiom Vega Japan, light fast and roughly half the price
U can consider this rubber and compare it with the other suggested rubbers

Have you actually tried T05FX and M2 when you say you "feel it would be faster" ?

Ofcourse, the only reason i said i 'feel' m2 would be faster is becuase i 'used' (not tried) both of them for around 3-4 days on different blades (t05fx on a sanwei f3 classic and then m2 on a tbspirit). The f3 classic is faster, stiffer and has a limba outer and so the m2 obviously felt like the faster rubber compared to the 05fx on a med-flexxy tbspirit. Iv also 'tried' these rubbers on other blades and my finding remains the same.

For short strokes the t05fx feels faster while the m2 feels a bit more tamed, while the m2 becomes quite lively and powerful when you put in a bit more effort. These are my personal views and someone else might have a different opinion.

Aurus select is my best bet in this regard.

I never tried it but a couple players better than me told me this is the best match to T64. Not sure when compared to 05fx.
btw I tried Omega VII Euro max but it is SO BOUNCY compared to all tenergies.

Can you say what type of throw angle do OVIIP and OVIIE have?
