Hi all.   I currently have a soulspin all wood limba blade with rakza 7 2.0 fh and rakza 7 soft 2.0 bh. I absolutely love this set up for the Nittaku ball. I can't seem to land my fh at all with the bfly ball. It goes so long on my full swing fh loops. I was wonderkng if anyone has 2 different set ups for the different balls and what rubbers you like for looping G40. Thanks

G40 is a very shitty ball, but the basic problem is bounce.  It bounces differently from Nittaku, so you are probably mistiming it.  Just give yourself time to adjust.

I don't care for the G40 ball either. Are you using it cause a tournament is coming up that is going to use it? If not I would not use the G40 except for multi ball hahaha. The Butterfly A40 is a better ball.

tournament in NC..most of the tournies around me use bfly sadly. Thanks for answers. I definitely have a hard time with the bounce. I mishit this ball a lot. It's frustrating.

Hopefully they will switch to the A40 ball at the tournaments soon.

The other problem is that it flies through the air very straight.  The spin you put on the ball seems to not affect trajectory as much, probably because of the surface texture of the ball.  No setup can really alter that.

if you have to use the awful G40 really all you can do is just play safer.

Using a different blade or setup strikes me as a bad idea but then again I know people who have two different blades that they use depending on conditions.  But they are usually only slightly different, like using T05 FX instead of T05 and only on one side.

Don’t adjust your equipment to a ball... adjust your timing.

G40 can spin ok but not as good as other competitors. It gets dented easily so when worn it’s garbage.
