I remember that only 5 players from each country are allowed to play the singles in WTTC. Right? So, ML, XX, FZD, LJK, and ???

Not sure whether CNT is ready to give up on LSW. If they don't let LSW play single in the Olympics, there is no way that CNT will let her play in the future. The mixed double combination of XX and LSW is also very questionable.

So disappointed in Wang Manyu, did pretty good the first three days and only had to win either of her last two matches and lost both, and a certain annoying trait of starting matches very actively opening up two games lead and then playing so passively and with a lot of unforced errors abd losing three games in a row, and can't excuse Xiao Zhan either, especially in that match against Chen Meng and other matches, rather than speak matter of factly to her and call timeouts when due, he leaves it up to her and just smiles and claps, Well see what his prized jewel came- 4th place,
She's better than Sun Yingsha and more reliable at the moment but will get to see SYS play at Budapest and probably will not, WCQ played poorly so he'll have no place in WTTC, if he'd played better he'll prob. have played mixed doubles with shasha but now that's closed, now with mixed doubles out of the question, probably no women doubles too cos CXT didn't do well, then No choice but to give her the last singles spot, now Manyu will have to serve as sparring partner for her junior 😕

By being second in the Marvellous 12, SYS has been qualified for WTTC. I guess CNT need to give up on LSW or ZYL on singles for WTTC.

DN, ML, XX will play for sure, but the rest, not sure. LGL is supposed to play in WTTC, but he did badly in the Marvellous 12. So who knows.

I think LSW will be dropped unfortunately, from a developmental perspective it's better to give the chances to the younger generation, she's had her chances and missed them...

I think fifth spot will still go to Lin Gaoyuan, but I sure hope they pick Xue Fei, he's young and hungry and is the future of the penhold style....
