Hello all, Do anyone has an idea where to find reliable information on the weight of various rubbers (mostly Stiga, Andro & Butterfly)? That seems to me as a "must know" information before to buy anything, and weirdly enough, a quite hard one to find! Cheers |

i would like to know that one, too. i'm a bit surprised that the manufacturers and/or dealers don't provide that info, cuz it is important to know. |

example: Bryce 86 with package, cutted to a Stiga optimum blade is 46g bty ~minus 40g Plasma 470 94g with package, cutted to Stiga optimum blade 48g. andro ~minus 46g Stiga is similar to bty Mendo MP 85g with package, cutted 44g these numbers arent accurate because i use a cheap kitchen scale. You have to calculate +-2g. light rubbers like samba, mambo weights are between 36-40g medium soft rubbers like sriverfx, markv gps weights are between 38-44g medium rubbers cutted like markv, sriver, bryce weights are between 42-48g all max sponge and cutted to 15.8 to 15 cm blade. |

I have a large post of a ton of chinese rubber weights back in the archives somewhere.
I'm assuming the numbers listed above are cut weights. A very light cut sheet will be 40-42g (the lightest I've seen was 38). Average is around 44-48. Traditional chinese around 55. Of course these numbers will vary with gluings and size of blade you cut it to fit. |
